CasE Study: corelight corporate site
Challenge
Corelight, a fast drawing security startup, was in desperate need of a complete website overhaul, as the legacy site did little to explain what their offering was, or why someone would want it. Complicating matters was a highly heterogenous audience, ranging from highly skeptical, hardcore security folks, to C-suite leaders, to potential investors.
Solution
I was the overall lead for the project, serving variously as content strategist, copywriter, head of SEO, and everything else we needed. I started by doing months of in-depth research, interviewing our audience, analyzing traffic with tools like Hotjar, and learning how content performed in the field. From there, I built out the site architecture, crafting page layouts, and making UX decisions. Then, the real work began, and I worked alongside designers, developers, and subject matter experts to create the pages and content that would populate the site. The end result was a .com we could be proud of. It showed users a quick overview of our company and the value we delivered, while also providing the technical detail and persuasive proof that our most important visitors demanded.
