CasE Study: Service source

A growing company needed help finding their voice, and their story.

Service Source, a leader in the renewals business, was ringing up billions in sales by managing the process of renewing licenses for software like Adobe's Creative Cloud. However, they were more comfortable speaking in spreadsheets than in headlines. I lead the verbal side of their rebranding effort at Salt, developing a distinctive new brand voice and high level messaging copy that was fresh and fun.

Taking a cue from the visual language the client had selected, I introduced joy and personality into their brand voice to make it more engaging and more distinctive. Next, I worked with designers to create a series of vignettes which capture Service Source’s most impressive proof points in a compelling way. These vignettes served as the cornerstone of the company’s new brand, flexible enough to serve in a wide variety of communications contexts from billboards to presentations. In addition, I created and wrote a brand handbook which was used to help employees across the world learn about the new brand. When the project was finished, Service Source had a new story and a new tools to tell it.
